Max Johnson has successfully signed a 1 year professional contract at newly promoted Scottish Premier League side Inverness Caledonian Thistle. The 19 year old goalkeeper has recently moved clubs after spending 3 years at Newcastle united, working his way through their youth teams and reserve side from the age of 16. After joining Newcastle United in October 2007, Max unfortunately missed the majority of his first season through a knee injury. But after months of rehabilitation he worked his way back into the youth team. Towards the end of his third year the 19 year old enjoyed a successful spell in Newcastle United’s reserve team, performing exceptionally well in matches against Scunthorpe United, Grimsby Town and Middlesbrough. Max told MyFirstAgent.com that, “I am very excited and looking forward to this opportunity in the SPL”. Max also extended a contract with HO Gloves Company which will supply him with gloves for the upcoming season. |
